Wedding shoes

These were going to be my wedding shoes for 20.- deal!
Unfortunately they are a bloody size 4 (37) and too small for my feet so I'm going to have to wear a more 'normal' pair, which no doubt every one will be very relieved about except my little fashion demon inside who'll be growling in pain. Aaaaarrrrrrrgh!

Red and white 'brain-effect' headpiece

Now - I hope you don't think I have been up to nothing on the fashion side of life just because my wedding is coming up in less than 3 weeks...oh no, my dear readers (if there are any yet) I am not the type.
This hand made (by me) headpiece, as you will be delighted to know, has gone through the hands of Mrs S. Mazza, manager of Vivienne Westwood's Gold Label. I hope you are not under the impression that I am showing off here. It's just a piece of very factual information I am giving you.

And what is that yellow piece in the background?
That's right guys, my Kimono-Totem! Hehehe!

Gold Label

Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce the Gold Label - my new spiritual home from next year.
To illustrate my current state I feel like singing: 'I'm a poor lonesome cowboy...a long long way from home'.
Good thing is I'm on the way and there's nothing stopping me now.

Atelier peinture

When I was a kid, I used to go painting once a week in an atelier like this one. All my paintings are still there, it's the Arno Stern method: your work has to stay there, even when you stop painting. I did it for 6 years and the strange thing is I cannot remember ANY of my paintings. I have contacted the lady who used to run the class for an appointment to see them again. After more than 15 years of sleep I can't wait to wake them up.

Samosa pants

These bottoms look like the samosa pants I tried on in that Indian shop, apparently the peak of fashion right now. I am waiting for the parotta pants to come out.

Outfit for Topshop

Wah! What an outfit! I hope Topshop copies it one day.

Two solitary souls

These two look nice together that's all. They look nice and peaceful and happy to be solitary. And the colours are nice.

Well, I think these visions of paradise sum it all: it's either South India or Switzerland.
I am quite ok with these two options to be totally honest. I wonder why they didn't show...Birmingham for example, ha?

The Indians

Ande more horses, I told you this thing was big...with the horses!
A part from making silly jokes on a Friday afternoon, I also do a bit of research and observation for my AW09 collection! Yes, I do! Look at this costume! Magnifique!

More horses

There is definitely something going on with the horses this season, I can just feel it...but I am still not quite sure where.

Eley Kishimoto

There is something going on here print and colour combinational wise. I really like Eley Kishimoto's SS10 collection. I had a mental picture of a very quite and attentive Japanese lady designing prints with full concentration...but on the last photo of the slideshow the short woman pops up next to a furry giant farmer. I take it her associate! (I'm not too sure what I want to say with that...probably that you never know who's behind a collection until you see the last photo of the slideshow).

Manish for Swatch

Now now now! What a coincidence! or should we rather say: what a dharma! Mr Manish comes all the way from India to design for Swatch while I am desperately trying to fly over to Delhi to get and internship in his design team...isn't it a match made in heaven? Thank you Ganesha!

I keep going back to this image - I don't know if it's the short horses, the strangely shaped hats, trendy colour combination or the tight composition that keeps me hooked.

Onibabaaaaaaaah! Also quite a piece of inspiration when it comes to masks and spooky planty environments. Love it.

Throne of blood

The last snowflake has landed softly, the last drop of fear on my forehead has dried, there is nothing holding me back - no memories, no thoughts - my whole body and mind are thrown into the fight. I am the fight. Alone and stronger then ever, there is nothing holding me back now.

Merci beaucoup

I know I am late and uninspired and I was almost feeling slightly depressed today morning until I found 'merci beaucoup'. Well, what can I say except the obvious: thank you so much for making my day worth dragging myself through the winter mist and damp weather. Already feeling much sunnier inside.

Green shrug

Again, the red-white gradiant! I see it everywhere! It's chasing me.
I'm considering the 'copying' option...I know, not good, not good.
